I am in the process of E-tanking all of the parts. I have a question about the standard spring shank assembly. I have new plow bolts to attach the sweeps or points (as we call them in TN) to the shank.Between what I read in the Cultivator manual and what BD has said, I can visualize tearing up the weeds. But I'm not clear how a plow is different from a cultivator. In the thread about 3 Cubs, the plow I brought home was identified as a Cub-16 Middlebuster. It's not made to because it's a cultivator, not a plow. Cultivating is disturbing the top couple inches to knock out weeds and break up the crust of soil on the surface to allow moisture to penetrate better.
